People drift by our lives
so quickly, so suddenly
touching us deep in the soul
like a gentle wave
a smooth caress
a soft whispher
so magical it seems
that we thought it could last
forever till eternity
and yet through the beauty
of what it brings
lies the dim of it all
the reality of our existence
